YLN seeks to actively build the expertise of our team on the Yazidi and other related topics to further enhance the quality of our work.

Last week, the team received training from a highly experienced professional and activist.

The first part of the training was about cultural and conflict sensitivity, as well as the gendered aspect of crimes committed against the Yazidi.
The second part of the training concentrated on learning how to approach and interview people who have lived through deeply traumatising events, just as the Yazidi have.
